Duration: Dermal fillers are substances/gels injected beneath the skin’s surface
to smooth wrinkles and add volume. The products are composed of stabilized
hyaluronic acid which occurs naturally in the cells of the skin. It works
by drawing in water and therefore augmenting the skin, thus reducing the
wrinkle treated.
Duration: Effects usually last about 6-9
months. Most clients choose to have a follow up treatment at around 6-12
months.
Procedure: The dermal filler is simply injected into the area required after careful
discussion with the doctor. For wrinkle treatment no pain relief is necessary,
but clients always have a choice between anaesthetic cream on the area
or a local anaesthetic of the kind you might have at the dentist (at no
extra cost). Treatment takes about half an hour and the effect is immediate.
Common reactions such as swelling, redness and sometimes bruising should
be expected all of which normally disappear within 2-3 days.
We use the newest, most advanced non-animal based form of hyaluronic acid
dermal filler on the market today - Juvederm Ultra (now with local anaesthetic
incorporated into the filler for a more comfortable experience).
Fees: This is directly related to the amount of filler required to treat your
particular situation properly. Prices start from £200, For more information
